I am looking to book an award ticket on AA from ORD to ABQ but I am not sure if I will be on time to make the flight as I am coming into ORD from NRT on a separate ticket. I am AA platinum and wondering if I will be eligible for stand-by on other flights and if so will that cost me $?

As a Platinum member, you are able to go same day standby on an earlier or later flight for free, once you are within 24 hours. You can also do a confirmed same day flight change for $75. Again, that’s all within 24 hours of departure
