The Amex Offers program frequently has promotions for hotel stays, which can save you money or earn you bonus points for stays you’d make anyway. Amex has just rolled out its latest targeted hotel offer, which is exclusively for stays at Four Seasons properties.
Spend $750+ with Four Seasons, save $150
There’s a targeted Amex Offers deal that can save you $150 when you spend $750+ at Four Seasons. This offer is valid for eligible room rates and room charges between May 20 and and July 17, 2022. That’s an awesome deal, as it’s the equivalent of saving up to 20% on a Four Seasons stay (in the right increments)

Do be aware of the following terms:
- Valid for Four Seasons properties in the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Anguilla, and Saint Kitts and Nevis
- Valid for Four Seasons Private Retreats luxury home rentals in the United States, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Anguilla, and Saint Kitts and Nevis
- Valid for reservations made through fourseasons.com
- Excludes gift card purchases online, as well as Four Seasons eGift Card purchases
- Not valid on third party bookings, Four Seasons Private Jet, the Four Seasons Beds, Four Seasons Magazine subscriptions, and other amenities
- You just have to spend $750+ cumulatively, so you could spend that across multiple stays
While you have to book direct, a Four Seasons Preferred Partner booking will qualify (and if you are booking a Four Seasons hotel, you absolutely should be booking through the Preferred Partner program, as this gets you extra amenities like breakfast, a space available room upgrade, and more). An Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts booking would qualify if you select to pay on property, but if you pay in advance to earn 5x points, then that would be billed by Amex, and you wouldn’t be able to use the credit.

Bottom line
There’s a new Amex Offers deal that can save you $150 when you spend $750+ on a Four Seasons stay. This is an awesome deal if you are considering a Four Seasons stay this summer. Also make sure you book through Preferred Partner, so you can score perks like free breakfast, a property credit, an upgrade, and more.
Was your account targeted for this Four Seasons Amex Offer deal, and do you plan on taking advantage of it?
Geographic restrictions suck.
Darn. Have 2 upcoming stays booked through Amex FHR. Would rebook though Preferred Partner, but the rates have gone up, wiping out any savings. Sorry Ford lol
No love for us despite several AMEX cards (Gold, etc.)
Glad you pointed this out!
Got this on my Plat as well as $300 off an IAP purchase of $1k of more. Maybe I should combine the two
Just in time for an already booked Four Seasons stay I have coming up.
Amex Offers are a pretty big value driver for these cards...
can i spend $ on minibar to have the total bill $750 at checkout to qualify? also, can i call four seasons reservation and book a corporate rate for this to qualify?
@ michelle -- Incidental on-property spending would qualify, and any rate paid directly with Four Seasons (including a corporate rate) should qualify as well.
The statement that an FHR booking won't qualify is dubious at best and just flat out wrong at worst. Attempting to direct your readers to a particular booking channel with misstatements is really not cool.
@ Carl -- Sorry, how is that misleading? Most people using Amex FHR are using the pre-paid option to earn 5x points, and that's billed directly by Amex rather than the hotel. That wouldn't qualify for this offer as far as I know?
There is the option to 'Pay at Hotel' which I believe would trigger the AMEX Offer for Four Seasons if you're staying at one by not paying directly with AMEX. I assume that's the part where he claims it's misleading.
Save by getting $200 back in statement credits each year on prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts® or The Hotel Collection bookings with American Express Travel when you pay with your Platinum Card®.
Prepaid, therefore, you cannot stack both offers, unless you do a hybrid booking and combine at the front desk.
You only get one hotel credit a year, and you only get 5x if you do a prepaid booking, but there can be value in doing Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts and choosing to pay at the hotel. You still get all of the various benefits (breakfast, upgrade, etc). I know Lucky generally encourages people to get those through agents, Virtuoso, or whatever, but sometimes it is just easier to book via Amex FHR.
Thanks for the heads up…yes and yes!
