I'm going to Sweden in June (after the holidays, so already during the time when travel season is in full swing) and my hotels costs are lower or on par with the standard pass, and often in nicer hotels (e.g. RB Scandinavia in Gothenburg for 125€). Pass for me.

Hotel prices in Nordics have been extremely low for the last couple of years. As a young adult I often couldn't afford going to Scandinavia due to hotel costs, nowadays it's often where I go when I want a cheap stay, lol. In that context, this pass no longer makes sense to me. It's been a good product back in the day though.

Writing as a Strawberry Lifetime Gold member - terrible offer. Very expensive and inflexible. If you’re on vacation, you want better-than-standard rooms, and you can often find their hotels at lower rates.

Any cities and/or hotels you recommend? I've avoided Nordic countries because they've been pricey in the past but I've been seeing them pop up more with cheaper rates.

Copenhagen remains quite expensive, but quite a few Swedish hotels seem bargainous and even Norwegian ones are extremely reasonably priced considering how expensive everything else is in that country!

can't seem to purchase the pass online... payment page just keeps on "spinning." Tried multiple different credit cards. As a cherry on top, one of the card used was skimmed and purchased a $25 gift card online within an hour.
