In late 2023, Luxair, the national airline of Luxembourg, placed an order for a new type of aircraft for the airline. There’s now an update, as the airline has just taken delivery of the first of these planes, so we have a full sense of what to expect onboard.

Ben - I’ve been interested in Luxair (and Luxembourg) as well. Their route network is surprisingly robust. I don’t know the ownership structure but I assume they are heavily subsidized.
Presumably, the Boeing 737 with a real business-class is also used by Luxembourg's government and its monarch, the grand duke.
Two random facts about Luxembourg. I believe it has the highest per capita number of Michelin restaurants. I also believe Luxembourgers consume the most wine per capita in Europe. There's actually a very well-established Luxembourg wine industry (particularly sparkling wines from the champagne method) but like 90-something percent of it is consumed domestically and not exported.
Luxair is not subsidized, partly because its share of profits from its partial ownership of Cargolux keeps it permanently profitable. The Luxair airline on its own has been profitable most years but made a large loss in 2020, when the state took on several tens of Luxair employees to reduce the airline's payroll--a far smaller amount of aid than that given to several large European airlines by their governments.
When it comes to Michelin stars per capita, Switzerland is above Luxembourg.
For context, the entire country of Luxembourg has only 13 Michelin stars across 11 restaurants, the same number as Courchevel with fewer than 3,000 inhabitants. But any per-capita indicator for a micro-country is inherently biased: Luxembourg has around 650,000 residents but hosts more than 900,000 workers and commuters on a daily basis from Germany, Belgium and France. For per capita comparisons, you should probably include the cross-border cities which makes around 2 million people.
If the E195-E2 is a regional aircraft, so are Franco-Canadian Spaghetti-Os. It's "regional" because it's from Embraer? BS.
