I can transfer from Chase UR to Aeroplan and then obtain a ticket for Oman Air, correct?
This is fantastic! Oman is gorgeous and Oman Air is an excellent boutique carrier.
I'd be willing to bet $20 that this is the first time "Yay" and "Oman Air" have appeared in the same sentence in print.
"Oman Air flies as far East as the UK, and as far West as the Philippines."
Er, according to my version of Google Maps the UK is West of Oman and the Philippines East.
Will ones Star Alliance Gold Status be recognized with Oman Air for priority check in and boarding?.
Aeroplan also added a partnership with Air Mauritius today! One of the most versatile reward programs imo

Was able to book LHR-MCT in F, stopover in Oman for 3 days and MCT-BKK with in J for 105K points and around $400US in taxes. I think it’s a great deal

For context, the $USD taxes you refer to out of LHR comprise a hefty slab of UK taxes such as their APD.
