Does this mean I only need 5 extra tiles a year to make Mosaic 1? Cuz doesn't m1 give 20 tiles for the next year?

If you frequent JFK T5 and would go to the lounge regularly, this is the card for you; otherwise, nope.
Interesting play... the first year you'll need 30 extra tiles, but yeah that sounds right. Just have to wait to apply the 20 tile perk until the next year and you'll only need 5 tiles ($5k in spend) to stay Mosaic another year.

I made Mosaic 2 and they promptly pulled out of LAX and pretty much the West Coast. Never got to use the benefits.
I'm pretty sure the 20 tile bonus applies to the current year and it's not possible to apply it to next year.
What it does is help significantly toward Mosaic 2.

Yes, 1-2 better additions. But The card still stinks. FYI JetBlue Travel creditS(!) are a joke. And if you fly blue basic you can’t get into lounge. JetBlue should be thankful anyone is even flying on their planes. And on top of it, paying several hundreds for that mediocre expensive card.
What does one have to do with the other? You just copied old language from before the new changes.
Overall these changes are a nice improvement. Whoever came up with the initial offering of incentives for this card should be fired as it was the least compelling card I had seen in the premium space. It would be great to see them off 2 tiles per $1,000 in spend for the premium card.
Just some things to ponder. If $1000 of that 75k spend was on travel through JetBlue to earn that $300 travel credit and the companion credits you would be able to reach Mosaic 3. This is because of the perks you pick. At 50 tiles you take a 20 tile bonus at 100 tiles you gift 20 tiles to another who can give them back so by reaching 110 tiles earned you can reach 150. This will give you another perk to select which could be 15000 points for instance and 4 move to mint certificates.
