More Alaska 789 problems today.
Unless you’re referring to something specific, all I can find is this Reddit comment on N781HA
N780HA (the one previously stuck in Rome) did return to SEA last night (September 14).
Seems like Alaska is still dealing with stuff but if these aircraft are at their base, likely undergoing maintenance, and should be back up and running, soon enough.
@1990_ They are running into significant MX issues with thier 789 fleet. 781 is the latest mechanical issue on this small fleet.
@samar Great find! (They just posted that 3 hours ago.) Not sure how they're making 'wider seats' but should be interesting. (Now, if only they'd bring back more 70K/way in long-haul J using AA/As points...)
On the Membership & Status page ( https://onemileatatime.com/omaat-community-rewards/) there's still info about the August competition. Shouldn't that be updated to September?

@gerwanese Yeah, Ben, @jeremy or @howie, probably should edit that (because it does still say 'August'); but, as far as the "Winners are chosen from the leaderboards," I can attest, that doesn't mean anything... so far. Anyone else see that Sepehran Airlines 4310 incident yesterday (September 14, 2026)? Intense vibrations, ceiling panels falling. Definitely turn down your volume before that one.
