Ben, I appreciate how you regularly revisit and update topics like today's 'World’s Best Airport Hotels' post. Even before I was a commenter at your site, as a frequent traveler I would search Google for recommendations like this, and it would often site you as a top reference. Seriously, these are great resources for a lot of people out in the real world (even if they don't regularly contribute in the comments these days). So, I guess, uh, thank you for doing what you do! Happy Friday.

@1990_ You're very kind, thank you! I really do enjoy keeping lists of airline and hotel related things that I enjoy, so I'm happy to hear others like it as well. Happy Friday!

Well my Hyatt hopping in Kuala Lumpur was great! Glad I got my Alila brand explorer stamp - nice room, sort of annoying elevators. Hyatt Centric and Grand Hyatt were great. And Park Hyatt was stunning! I will stay there longer next time. Loved the service (they must flag my name in the dining system - was greeted by managers at my table for breakfast and during cocktails.) Walked to Chinatown twice. And had a 4pm spa service before my late night flight. Really great experience!

Oh, and for those who are interested, I had no issues getting into the premium MH lounge at KUL with my AA ExecPlat status even though I was crediting my flights to QR (almost to QR platinum thanks in large part to the QR credit card!)

@chris_ So happy to hear you had a great experience, and not surprised to hear about that general ordering of hotels. Alila is such a quirky brand, when it has properties that go for $2K+ per night in the US, while some in Asia go for well under $200 per night.
