Historically one of Hilton's biggest challenges has been that their luxury footprint was limited. However, this is an area where the company is improving significantly, as they're opening some great new luxury properties. The other awesome thing about more luxury Hilton properties is how easy it is to earn status with them, and also how…

Check out One&Only Palmilla. Been around the globe to numerous "bucket-list" destinations and this place still takes the cake.

@Lisfranc, how many points for that one?

WA looks like a great deal for sure considering $480/night all in plus cheap airfare AND within one time zone for most of us!

@Lukas. Not a points property. Rates are somewhat reasonable during low season but can get to almost 1k a night during high season.

Great place to use the prestige 4th night free. The whole resort + food is phenomenal (Jean George has at least one of the restaurants). You really don’t need to leave the property.

but is the beach a swimmable beach? Cabo only has a couple of swimmable beaches, and as far as I know the only luxury property with one is the Montage

I don't understand why these luxury resorts are opening in Cabo, recently rated the most dangerous city in the world:

Two of the above comments are apropos. First, this would be a great use of the Hilton Amex Aspire (and/or Amex Surpass) cards' Weekend Night Reward. Second, I love travel but have zero plans to ever visit Mexico, which I consider to be a drug/gang-corrupted and violent country. If I want to enjoy beaches and resorts, there's always Hawaii or the Caribbean. If I want to experience Latin culture, I'd prefer to continue further south to Argentina or Ecuador. Mexico? I'll pass, thanks.

@critter lol you are seriously in need of putting your head under a rock and hide yourself from the World. Don't travel - ever! - you'll be safer at home.

I recently booked a stay and it was close to 260,000 per night!! Yikes. It’s the weekend before thanksgiving but wow. And they haven’t shown any standard rooms- when I called the diamond desk they couldn’t even find any to use the free Amex night in 2020. Let me know if you have a better way!
