Want to take advantage of Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits, including a space available room upgrade, complimentary breakfast, a hotel credit, and more? Contact Ford ([email protected]) for more details. He may even be able to help if you already have a stay booked.
Four Seasons is known for being one of the best luxury hotel brands in the world. The group’s portfolio is growing quickly, as consumers love the consistently exceptional service and attention to detail that the Four Seasons brand is known for.
Admittedly Four Seasons properties aren’t cheap, but if you’re going to book a Four Seasons stay, there’s one absolute best way to do so — that’s through a Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel advisor. You’ll virtually always get the best deal this way, whether you’re booking a base room or a villa, and regardless of how long you’re staying. Let me explain why.
In this post:
Preferred Partner, the best way to book Four Seasons
Preferred Partner is Four Seasons’ proprietary program available to invited travel agents. With Four Seasons Preferred Partner, guests can receive exclusive benefits for their Four Seasons stays across the globe, all without it costing the guest anything extra. You’ll pay the same as the rate you see on Four Seasons’ website.
The benefits of Four Seasons Preferred Partner are generally better than what you’d find through other programs, like Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts, which is why the program should be on your radar. Think of it like having elite status with a hotel group, without actually having to be loyal.
Benefits of Four Seasons Preferred Partner
While you’ll have to reach out to a Four Seasons Preferred Partner agent to get the full details on the benefits, generally you can expect that a Four Seasons Preferred Partner booking will include the following perks:
- Complimentary breakfast for two people per bedroom, either in the restaurant or via in-room dining
- A space available room upgrade
- A hotel credit to be used during the stay
A few things to note:
- I’m being vague about the credits because they are typically larger if booking a suite, but you can expect a minimum of a $100 credit
- Upgrades through Four Seasons Preferred Partner are prioritized over upgrades through other third party programs, like Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts
- There are sometimes additional value-add amenities at select hotels, so an advisor can give you more information on that
- Unlike third party bookings, Preferred Partner amenities can be added to virtually any rate booked directly with Four Seasons, even if it’s a promotional rate
- In many cases travel advisors can even add Preferred Partner perks to existing bookings, so just reach out to ask for details
How to book Four Seasons Preferred Partner
You can’t book Preferred Partner rates directly with Four Seasons, but rather have to go through an eligible travel advisor. Ford is more than happy to help with these requests, and can be reached at [email protected] (and he doesn’t charge any booking fees for Four Seasons inquiries). He is a top Four Seasons Preferred Partner agent, and has visited many Four Seasons properties himself, so can provide insights if you have any questions.
In case you’re suspicious and wondering about how this is all possible, it’s quite simple:
- It’s standard for hotels to pay travel advisors commissions for bookings, so you’re not paying anything extra — you’ll pay the same rate you see directly with Four Seasons (you’ll even be charged for your stay directly by Four Seasons)
- Hotels use all kinds of techniques to sell rooms, and offering exclusive perks to travel advisors who book the brand is one of those strategies
Four Seasons Preferred Partner FAQs
While the above hopefully covers the basics of the Four Seasons Preferred Partner program, let me answer some frequent questions that guests have about the program, in no particular order.
Which Four Seasons properties participate in Preferred Partner?
All Four Seasons properties globally participate in Preferred Partner. So you can take advantage of these perks at all properties, regardless of the room type you book.
Is there a minimum stay length for Four Seasons Preferred Partner?
Nope, you can take advantage of Four Seasons Preferred Partner perks even on a one-night stay. There’s no minimum stay required.
Can you book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate without a travel agent?
The only way to book a Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate is directly with a travel advisor affiliated with the program. There’s no way for consumers to book this directly.
Can you apply Four Seasons Preferred Partner perks to an existing booking?
In some cases travel advisors may be able to apply Four Seasons Preferred Partner perks to existing bookings that were made directly with Four Seasons. Just reach out to a travel advisor to learn more.
How do you find a Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel agent?
It shouldn’t be too hard to find a Four Seasons Preferred Partner travel agent by searching online, though keep in mind that some travel advisors charge planning fees. Ford is happy to help with Four Seasons Preferred Partner inquiries, and he doesn’t charge any planning fees. You can reach out to him at [email protected].
How expensive is the Four Seasons Preferred Partner rate?
Four Seasons Preferred Partner perks can generally be applied to any rate booked directly on Four Seasons’ website. I always recommend checking the Four Seasons website to see what pricing is like and what kind of room you’d like to book, and then reaching out to a travel advisor with those details.
How is Four Seasons Preferred Partner different than Amex FHR?
Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts is a popular program through which people book hotels. However, there are some major advantages of booking Four Seasons properties through Preferred Partner. Among other things, with Preferred Partner:
- You get your choice of restaurant or room service breakfast
- The property credit applies toward any eligible on-property purchase, rather than being limited to a dining or spa credit
- You can combine perks with any rates you see on Four Seasons’ website, rather than just the flexible rate
- Your upgrade will also be prioritized above upgrades offered through other programs, and that can potentially be a huge value
Booking through Preferred Partner over Fine Hotels & Resorts is a no-brainer.
How do you get a discount on a Four Seasons stay?
Four Seasons generally doesn’t discount rates below what you’ll see on Four Seasons’ website. The best way to get a deal on a Four Seasons stay is to try to find a promotional rate on Four Seasons’ website (sometimes there will be third or fourth night free promotions, sometimes there are off-season value dates that are cheaper, etc.), and then combine that with Preferred Partner perks.
Bottom line
Four Seasons Preferred Partner is a program available through select travel advisors, offering extra perks for Four Seasons stays. You’ll pay exactly the same rate as on Four Seasons’ website, and you’ll get the best perks offered by any program, including breakfast, a room upgrade subject to availability, a hotel credit, and more.
Whether you’re a Four Seasons loyalist or just an occasional guest, booking through Preferred Partner is the way to go.

Agree, it's the best. We always talk with Phelipe Cardoso Sekai at FORA, and save a bit every FS booking
I’d be interested to know if anyone has any reasons not to book through a FS preferred partner. I’ve booked twice and most recently scored an upgrade worth $7k plus the credit etc. Unless anyone can enlighten me, I cant fathom why I’d book any other way, so would definitely use the contact above or try [email protected], who I found on OMAAT and is excellent
