So a friend has me booked on a January flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok, and what I know is that it’s on Cathay Pacific. What I don’t know is which flight I’m on, so technically, it could be anywhere between an A330, an A340 and a 777-300ER. While I technically can have my friend check, I really want to try going into a flight “blind”. Have any of you tried this after becoming an aviation geek, and what did you feel? Is this a good idea?
