Will United refund Basic Economy tickets because of the current situation?

Will United refund Basic Economy tickets because of the current situation?

Does anyone know whether United will refund Basic Economy tickets because of the current COVID-19 situation – if cancelled before May 31st? Looking at their relevant web-page, it does not say that it will not. Anyone had experience with that? Thank you

I think that I didn’t correctly ask my question. I meant getting a travel certificate for the full value of the basic economy ticket.
Actually I have just talked to them (UA) and they said that their current waiver states that any ticket can be cancelled before May 31 to get either a refund (refundable ticket) or a travel certificate (everything else, including basic economy).
