Waitlist on SN using UAL

Waitlist on SN using UAL

  1. Anonymous Guest

I have crafted together a fairly decent itinerary using mileage plus miles from Africa to Europe during peak travel time in business class. All the segments are fine, except SN. It shows available on expertflyer and all star partner websites. I can even ticket it as it’s own segment. But when combined in my itinerary, it keeps saying waitlisted. I have asked several agent to “manual sell” or “long sell.” They absolutely won’t do it. I have asked for help from the stardesk and they again refuse. They keep saying I need to wait for SN to confirm the space automatically. The ticket has been on hold for 48 hours and there is no movement. They extended the hold time longer (which I didn’t think they could even do). What do I need to do to get this confirmed? The space is definitely there. There are no other good options… and I would hate to lose some of my connecting segments. Appreciate insights.
