United Free Stopover

United Free Stopover

I’m anticipating having to go to Houston next February/March for a wedding and would like to be able to build another leg into the trip to enjoy the free stopover perk (United). I’d be starting at SFO, any ideas or suggestions on destinations that qualify?

I tried plugging in a leg from IAH to either the Caribbean or Belize but it seems they don’t count since the route would start in the same region as my origin.

Hi, if your original itinerary only involves travel in the mainland 48 states, then you are not eligible for the Excursionist Perk. You need to be flying to Hawaii/Alaska/International. Sorry!
