Hi,

I’m a journalism student studying in London and I’m doing a dissertation into travel blogging/ journalism. Why is travel blogging better than professional forms of travel travel journalism? I would be interested to know your opinion as a travel blogger.

    Thanks,

    Sophie Parrott.

“Better” is a strong word! It’s certainly different, and there’s a lot to be said for independence, which is I think what Ben and I value the most about the platform/concept. But many travel journalists do great work as well — it’s a different audience and skill set for each, really.
