hiya

I really want to fly FRA JFK on SQ F in December. They currently show availability as Waitlist

1. Do you have any experience with this? Does Waitlist often clear?
2. Do they book you in C when you book Waitlist?

Hiya

I’m looking to use miles to book SQ F FRA JFK in Dec. They currently show the dates I want as “Waitlist”. Two questions:

1. Do you have any experience with this? Is it likely, if I book this, that we will clear to F or is that rare?
2. If I book this will they book me into Biz so at least I have a seat or, if the F does not clear waitlist am I without a ride?

I’m 0/1 trying to clear the SQ Suites waitlist (SIN-FRA-JFK – sat on waitlist for a couple months and ultimately flew Cathay F from HKG instead), but I’ve heard others have had better luck. If there is is biz availability you can first waitlist the suites (i believe you need the miles in your account to book waitlist – could be wrong) then you can book confirmed biz after if it’s available. Doesn’t happen automatically.
