I`m planning to apply form SPG Gold/Platinum Challenge and I wanted to ask if it makes sense to get the last qualifying night in 2017, will the status be till end of 2018 then or the same as if I qualify in 2016 till end of 2017?Thanks in advance.

I plan to apply for SPG Gold/Platinum challenge, and wanted to know if it makes sense to postpone last qualifying night till 2017 or to get status for 2018 or it don`t work like that and it will still be for 2017 only?
