QR rebooking

QR rebooking

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi Ben,

I’ve purchased a full-fare F ticket with QR but will be rebooked due to the gulf crisis going on at the moment. They typically offer rebooking you into C with TK but of course that’s not an option if one intended to travel in F.

My question is, may I insist on being rebooked into F with another airline or can QR simply rebook me as they wish and compesate me with a few bucks (if any)?

Many thanks for your help in advance!

You can (try to) insist, but Qatar has limited options as well for some destinations. Turkish serves most destinations with one connection in Istanbul, so you may want to have an alternative itinerary ready to share with the phone agent — they likely won’t volunteer an option that requires an overnight in Frankfurt, etc., even if that’s something you’d be open to.
