Well, I wouldn’t make a speculative purchase, as that’s ~2¢ per point, which isn’t necessarily a great deal. Keep in mind if you wanted to book an award ticket you’d still need earned/transferred points in conjunction with the purchased points.
So it could be an [I]okay[/I] deal depending on your situation, but not something I’d do in most cases.
