Mid East -> Europe – options?

Mid East -> Europe – options?

Will be heading to the ME on EY JFK-AUH in the apartment. After a few days there, we will go on to Madrid. Looking at options to get to Madrid, first or business. Am I correct that I Qatar F is bookable with 40K AA miles? Looks like that would be DOH-CDG, and from there likely a separate cheap one-way on to MAD (DOH-MAD only has business). Thanks for any help.

Yep, and you could add ORY-MAD on Iberia for no additional miles, if you’d like. Otherwise DOH-LHR-MAD with the last segment on BA should work as well.

Thanks Tiffany. I’m not overlooking a more efficient or maximizing itinerary am I? (Ie stopovers not allowed right) 2 PAX btw.

    MIA-JFK-AUH : EY F for 90K AA miles
    DOH-CDG-MAD or DOH-LHR-MAD : QR F, 40K AA miles
MAD-MIA – to be determined, but J will suffice there I think.

Not sure I have enough miles in the AA bank for the MAD-MIA. Any other suggestions? My other large cache is 200k MR points. Appreciate your help!

@Andrw — That’s a great option for an Aeroplan redemption. I’d look for MAD-ZRH-MIA as my first choice!
