[I]Going forward there will be no opportunity to earn lifetime Platinum Premier or above, and lifetime Platinum members won’t receive the Choice Benefit, which includes Suite Night Awards. Furthermore, elite qualifying nights and status across all programs will be combined to calculate lifetime status.

How does this work for existing lifetime elite members?
