How to audit bonus points on Amex Blue for Business?

How to audit bonus points on Amex Blue for Business?

  1. DCampbell New Member

    Hi Lucky,

I signed up for the recent bonus on the Amex Blue for Business (10K first-use, 10X on dining for 12 months up to 20K, 2X points on everything else up to 50K).

My question is, how do I confirm I’m getting the 2X points on all other spend? When I log into my account, all I see is…

Not sure how I would verify the 2X points I think I’m supposed to be receiving.

    Thanks!

    Dan

Hi @DCampbell, welcome. The membership rewards website allows you to download your activity into Excel. I’d just do that, filter out all the dining spend sort them by amount and make sure there are duplicates for every transaction. Seems like a pain but I can’t think of a better way.

You could also look at the activity page on the AX website (Ben talked about it in his post on tracking Everyday Preferred category spending) to see how many $ you have spent on dining and non-dining spend and then match them up with total MR earnings on the card. AX is frustrating in it’s posting though because for some cards at least MR don’t post until well after your statement.
