Good status run opportunity with TAP

Good status run opportunity with TAP

TAP Portugal is beginning a new service to YYZ this June, and is offering some pretty amazing J fares. For Aeroplan members, J on TAP earns 200% status miles, the highest rate of any class on any partner airline. These fares are one-way, making them extra flexible (in fact, it seems that it’s cheaper to book two one-way tickets than one round-trip). Right now, many seats throughout the summer are available YYZ-LIS for C$1085 (US$807) and LIS-YYZ for C$780 (US$580). Flights to and from many other European destinations through Lisbon are in the C$1200-$1500 range (US$890-$1120). While TAP’s business class product doesn’t sound like anything to write home about (and they’re using their old angle-flat A330 on the YYZ route), at these prices and earning rates who cares!
