Etihad Bids

Etihad Bids

Thought this was interesting and worth sharing. Not sure how many of us actually travel economy long-haul, but here’s a snapshot of what Etihad’s bidding process is like. Between this and monitoring seatmaps on ExpertFlyer, I think you could make a pretty solid estimate on what you’d have to do to fly “poor man’s biz class” and get an empty row!

Prices start at $110 to bid for an empty middle on ultra long-haul (13+ hours) and go up from there (two empty seats starts at $220, three at $330, etc.)
