We have set of flights through Doha on Qatar J class with a 7 hour layover outbound to JNB. If we are flying in J but are Emerald, do we have First Lounge access? Those rest beds would be nice, if possible. Thanks for any info. -

QR’s Al Safwa lounge is only for departing QR F passengers – it’s not a oneworld lounge at all so your Emerald status wont get you in.
If you[I] really[/I] want to get into the F lounge, you can redeem Avois for DOH-AUH/DXB for access but I dont think it’s worth it.

Thanks David. That answers that. Our flight does not offer F -only J service. I am sure we will be happy with the Business Lounge at Doha. Thanks for that tip, though.
