Does ANA gold award space from partners?

Does ANA gold award space from partners?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi! Does ANA hold some award space back from partners? I just tried to book an ANA first class award via Virgin Atlantic. Both ExpertFlyer and the ANA website show availability, but when I called Virgin Atlantic, the request came back “unconfirmed.” It’s also not showing up on an award search on United’s website.

    Thanks!
    Jeff

It’s certainly possible, though usually EF will show partner award space. But if neither Virgin nor UA can see it then it sounds as if that’s the case. Did you check Singapore just for a 3rd opinion?
