Delta: outreagous mileage redeposit fee of $150

Delta: outreagous mileage redeposit fee of $150

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hi all,

I was just about to cancel an award ticket on Delta which was obtained on one of the skymiles flash sales. 18,000 Skymiles RT from BOS to LGA when I noticed the following language:

A $150.00 fee per Award Ticket applies to redeposit the miles back to the redeemer’s SkyMiles® account
Isn’t this outrageous. Do I have any recourse?

That’s about normal. I know several years ago I redeposited an AA award and even then it was $100 so $150 now doesn’t surprise me.

Yeah that’s pretty normal for a US airline.

Only thing you can hope for us that delta has a schedule change. Then you can call and say it doesn’t work for you and you need to cancel the ticket.
