I have been trying to book flights with CX round trip from JFK to Vancouver in December and there’s no availability in any cabin on any date from today until January 1st 2019, and I have checked both to/from Vancouver. It most definitely is available as they are selling seats nearly every day on both directions if I search all the way to/from HKG. It seems to be a technical glitch which is restricting the flight availability as I have never experienced anything like this. Can you reach out to the right people at Cathay Pacific and have them look in to it ?

I did find seats available in January 2019. So is it a glitch, or is it that CX just isn’t offering seats between JFK and Vancouver closer in? Just because seats are available to HKG does not mean that CX has to offer them for the shorter leg. There may only be a limited number and CX wants to fill the seats all the way to HKG?
