I have had the no fee card for a couple years and want to get the Surpass while the sign up bonus is 100,000. Clicking on your link or going straight through Amex’s site only gives me the option of upgrading the card and it doesn’t appear to get the sign up bonus. Do I have to cancel the no fee card first?

I believe you would have to cancel the card.
