Hi all!

This year was the first time I received Hyatt Club Access awards as part of my 20 and 30 night Milestones. A couple of questions……Can I make a reservation online, and then do I call Hyatt to apply the award? Terms are a bit vague and say it needs to be redeemed prior to check in.

Also, can they be booked with any other rate besides the standard rate (such a AAA rate)? Thanks for your help!

Provided you make the online booking directly through Hyatt, you can use the Club Access Award with any bookable rate appearing on their website, such as the standard or member rate or even the AAA rate (if that is listed as one of the rates on the Hyatt website for the particular booking you are wanting to make). Then you call Hyatt to apply the award. The member rate may be lower than the AAA rate.
