If you’re traveling to Vietnam just keep in mind that American partners with Dragonair while Alaska doesn’t. Some of Cathay Pacific’s service to Vietnam is operated by Dragonair, so if that’s the case for a flight you’re looking at you’d be in trouble if wanting to redeem Alaska miles.”
