I love racking up the points for air and hotel travel for leisure as I do not travel much for business. Your site is great. Question: Am I correct that an American Express rep told me that once you have received points for a certain card, it does not matter how long it has been since the card has been closed, you can never receive signup bonus points again ? If so how often does AE come out with new cards and sign up bonuses. -Mark/Atlanta, GA -

Yes, theyre right, though there are reports of people being able to get a bonus for the card again after 7+ years.
THere’s always people who’ve never had the card before. And sometimes they release entirely new card products.
