Best Visa travel card to replace Costco’s AmEx

Best Visa travel card to replace Costco’s AmEx

  1. Anonymous Guest

Looking for a mileage transfer Visa card. Just received a letter from Citibank that they are converting our Citi AAdvantage Platimum Visa card to a Mastercard. I was looking forward to using the Visa Citicard at Costco beginning June 20th to supplement our miles on our AA account. Looking to find another Visa card (so that I can use it at Costco as well) that also has airline transfer miles, preferably to American Airlines. Any recommendations?

    Valinda, hopefully this will help:

Valinda, call Citi and tell them you want to keep your card as a Visa. I still have a Citi AA Visa because I called and told them not to convert me.

The other benefit to not letting them convert you — you can potentially apply for the Mastercard version and get the bonus in future 🙂
