best points earning with priceline

best points earning with priceline

I’m looking to book a hotel on priceline – the hotel doesn’t do direct bookings on their website, only over the phone. I chose priceline because the Rakuten rebate is the highest of the OTAs.

But I can’t figure out which card will give me the best points for the actual charge, given that it is booked through priceline. Here are my card options to use:
    Amex Plat
    CSR (travel credit already used)
Citi Prestige (travel credit already used)
    Bonvoy Brilliant
    Hilton Aspire
    Delta Reserve
    Citi Double Cash

Unclear which would trigger a travel bonus category and I’ve searched for a summary somewhere and haven’t found one.

I found this from TPG, which should be mostly accurate. I’d aim for either your Amex Plat or your Chase Sapphire – both seem to include travel agencies.
