BA A350-900?

BA A350-900?

I’m scheduled to fly on an AA codeshare flight operated by BA from LHR to BOS on 5th August. Was booked in First but it seems there has been an aircraft change to a plane that has no first class as I’ve been bumped to business.

My booking on AA indicates that the aircraft is an A350-900, but I wasn’t aware BA had any of these? Could they be leasing from another airline? Or is it actually the A350-1000 and AA just has it wrong?

If you indeed got switched to the A350, you are in for a nice upgrade with BA’s new Club Suites cabin. I think Boston was scheduled to get the A350 this summer, with the 747s and such being grounded during covid, it makes sense that the A350 stuck on the schedule.

With all that said, you should be due a refund in fare difference (cash or miles) for being downgraded a cabin.
