AA has to have award space available to partners for it to show up. If it’s not showing up, award space is probably not available. If you want, check for space using Alaska Airline’s tool. If space shows up there, call BA.

And Michelle, AA is being quite stingy with award space on their own flights especially international flights but even on domestic flights.
