Air China flight change

Air China flight change

  1. AllanZ New Member

    Hi Lucky,

Loyal follower of your blog and first time asking a question here – I had a horrible experience with Air China recently. I need to change flights for my parents, who are flying JFK-PEK. When I called Air China I was told that I had to fill out and manually sign an authorization form, scan my parents’ IDs and credit cards, and email everything back to them. Plus I have to send them back within two hours. I did all of that, and shortly after they called me and said that I had to go online and cancel my seat selection (they could not do it over the phone). My question is, is this normal for changing a flight with an airline? Any tips dealing with them in the future?

    Thanks,
    Allan
