Citi AAdvantage Executive Card Adds $200 Annual InKind Dining Credit

The Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Legend Mastercard® (learn more) has just added an awesome new dining perk, which happens to be with my favorite dining app, InKind. Sure, I’ll take an extra $200 in InKind value without an annual fee increase. It’s nice when that happens!

Citi AAdvantage Executive Card InKind credit details

Effective immediately, eligible Citi AAdvantage Executive Card members will receive $200 in annual dining credits through inKind, the dining app that probably accounts for over half of my restaurant visits nowadays.

This up to $200 perk is semi-annual, so cardmembers can receive a $100 credit between January 1 and June 30, and a $100 credit between July 1 and December 31. This is an ongoing perk, and there’s no published end date as of now. This is also valid for both new and existing InKind users.

In order to take advantage of this, cardmembers will first have to download the InKind app and register (I’d recommend doing so through a refer-a-friend link — this can get you $25 off your first meal).

Then once registered, cardmembers will have to add their Citi AAdvantage Executive Card as a payment method in their InKind profile. Once that’s done, you’ll immediately see a new section in the InKind app referencing this benefit.

Following this, when you dine at a participating InKind restaurant, just pay through the InKind app with your linked card, and then the credit will be issued.

InKind is a great app, and I love this card change

I use InKind all the time, and it’s really so much better than any other dining app, in my opinion. While I’d recommend checking out my full InKind review, let me highlight a few of my favorite aspects of the app:

  • While there’s of course some variance, InKind has a lot of very high quality restaurants, and in some cases, I’ve even found new places that I love thanks to InKind
  • InKind offers at least 20% back on dining in the form of InKind credit; another trick is that InKind will often sell credit for 30-45% off, so that represents massive savings at these restaurants
  • The process of using InKind is really straightforward (there are no hoops to jump through), and you just have to pay for your meal with the app, which ends up saving you time

This also adds really meaningful value to the Citi AAdvantage Executive Card, in my opinion. It’s a card that I currently have — yes, it has a steep $695 annual fee, but for me it’s worthwhile as someone who primarily flies American.

On the most basic level, the card offers an Admirals Club membership for the primary member, and that’s worth more than the annual fee to me. That’s only the start of the benefits, though, and if you add even more value on top of that, all the better!

Bottom line

The Citi AAdvantage Executive Card now gets up to $200 in dining credits with InKind annually. This is a semi-annual credit, so you receive $100 in the first half of the year, and $100 in the second half of the year.

To take advantage of this, just enter your card number in the InKind app, and then you’ll automatically see details about this benefit there. Also make sure when you register for InKind, you use a refer-a-friend link, so you can get $25 off your first meal (this is my link — others are free to leave their links in the comments).

If you don’t yet have InKind, this is a great time to give it a shot!

Anyone else happy to see this new InKind credit?
