The Amex Offers program often has promotions that can save you money on hotel stays, especially with co-branded credit card partners Hilton and Marriott.
We pretty regularly see Amex Offers deals for Hilton-family properties, given the close partnership between American Express and Hilton. We’ve just seen some of these offers refreshed, so I wanted to recap the Amex Offers deals currently available for stays at Hilton-family properties.
Best of all, all these offers can be combined with any promotions being offered by Hilton Honors, including the current global promotion. Let’s go over the details of the four offers.
In this post:
Save at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, & LXR
There’s a targeted Amex Offers deal for stays at Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, & LXR:
- Save $100 when you spend $500+ across one or more transactions (up to 20% back)
- This is valid when you pay for your stay between April 3 and July 31, 2023
- This is only valid for stays at properties in the US, Anguilla, French Polynesia, and Mexico
- The terms state that you need to book directly with Hilton to take advantage of this; Hilton Impresario bookings should qualify for these purposes
- Registration is required

Save at Hilton in Mexico
There’s a targeted Amex Offers deal for stays at Hilton in Mexico:
- Save $150 when you spend $750+ across one or more transactions (up to 20% back)
- This is valid when you pay for your stay between January 3 and April 30, 2023
- This is only valid for stays at Hilton properties in Mexico
- The terms state that you need to book directly with Hilton to take advantage of this
- Registration is required

Look for these offers on Hilton Amex cards
While you could see these offers on most of American Express’ rewards cards, ideally you’ll see this offer on a co-branded Hilton Honors credit card, so that you can earn bonus points for your hotel stay, while also qualifying for the statement credit offer. This includes the following cards:
- The Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card (review) offers 14x points per dollar spent with Hilton
- The Hilton Honors American Express Surpass® Card (review) offers 12x points per dollar spent with Hilton
- The Hilton Honors American Express Business Card (review) offers 12x points per dollar spent with Hilton
- The Hilton Honors American Express Card (review) offers 7x points per dollar spent with Hilton
The information and associated card details on this page for the Hilton Honors American Express Aspire Card and Hilton Honors American Express Surpass Card has been collected independently by OMAAT and has not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.
Bottom line
There are a couple of great targeted Amex Offers deals that can save you money on your next stay at a Hilton-family property. A new offer has just been released for stays at luxury brands, including Waldorf Astoria, Conrad, and LXR. On top of that, there’s an offer that can save you money on a stay at a Hilton property in Mexico.
If you have any Hilton stays planned in the near future, I’d highly recommend checking if you’re eligible, and then registering.
Was your account targeted for one or more these Hilton Amex Offers, and do you plan on taking advantage of them?
Lucky there’s another one out there for $200 off $1000 for hotels and resorts. Theoretically could triple stack for $450 off $1000.
Do you know if these offers stack- so if you stay at a participating Hilton resort in Mexico, for example, and charge more than $1000 to the room, would you receive both credits?
They stack in my experience. I used both offers on a single stay.
It's funny - while I will occasionally get a Delta offer on my Delta Amex card, and a Marriott offer on my Marriott Amex card, I have never received a Hilton offer on my Hilton Amex cards. All of the Hilton offers are on my Amex Platinum. And I must say I have increasingly seen Marriott offers on my Amex Platinum, not the Marriott card. It seems to me Amex may be pushing these offers to the charge cards...
Yeah I only see it on platinum & gold cards.... have three hilton cards (aspire, surpass, honors) and not seeing anything on there. oh well.
Lucky - Do you know how they select who gets these offers? I used to get them all the one on my Hilton cards and now I haven’t gotten one in years.
