The Citi® / AAdvantage Business™ World Elite Mastercard® is American’s primary co-branded business credit card. We’ve just seen an excellent new limited time welcome offer rolled out on the card, which is in line with the highest ever offer that we’ve seen on the card.
That makes this the ideal time to apply. Not only that, but this is a card that many people will want, given that it’s my favorite American card for earning AAdvantage elite status, since you can basically double dip Loyalty Points.

Citi AAdvantage Business Card 75K bonus miles offer
The Citi AAdvantage Business Card currently has a limited time welcome offer of 75,000 AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $5,000 within the first five months. This is a highest-ever offer, in line with the best bonuses I recall seeing on the card.
Based on my latest miles & points valuations, I value AAdvantage miles at 1.5 cents each, so to me the bonus is worth $1,125. There are some incredible uses of American AAdvantage miles, including for travel on some world class partner airlines.
Also keep in mind that credit card spending will qualify for Loyalty Points (helping you earn elite status, including Gold, Platinum, Platinum Pro, or Executive Platinum), though the welcome bonus as such won’t. Upon completing minimum spending, you’d earn a minimum of 5,000 Loyalty Points. As I’ll explain below, you can even double dip the Loyalty Points you earn.

Citi AAdvantage Business Card eligibility requirements
If you’re interested in applying for the Citi AAdvantage Business Card, the typical Citi credit card application restrictions apply, including that you can be approved for at most one Citi card every eight days, and at most two Citi cards every 65 days.
On top of that, the bonus isn’t available to those who have received a new account bonus on this exact card in the past 48 months. Eligibility is unrelated to having any other American Airlines credit cards.
If you’re concerned about Chase’s 5/24 rule, note that applying for a Citi business card generally won’t count toward that limit. I should also mention that at least anecdotally, this card seems to be quite easy to get approved for.

Why the Citi AAdvantage Business Card is worth it
The Citi AAdvantage Business Card has an annual fee that’s waived for the first year, so you can “try” the card before you have to pay a fee. While the fee after that is technically still $99, it’s increasing to $150 as of January 24, 2027, so that’s what you’d pay on account renewal.
The Citi AAdvantage Business Card offers a variety of valuable perks, including:
- 2x AAdvantage miles per dollar spent with American Airlines, and on telecommunications, cable and satellite providers, car rentals, and gas stations; credit card spending can also help you earn Loyalty Points
- A first checked bag free on domestic American Airlines itineraries for the primary cardmember and up to four companions on the same reservation
- The ability to earn a companion certificate for domestic economy travel when you spend $30,000 or more on the card in a card membership year, and when you renew the card
- Membership in the AAdvantage Business program, potentially allowing you to rack up extra rewards for travel with American
Above I mentioned how the Citi AAdvantage Business Card is the best card for earning AAdvantage elite status. The reason is because through December 31, 2028, the card essentially lets you double dip Loyalty Points. If you add an authorized user, their spending will earn 1x Loyalty Points per dollar spent for both their own account, and for the primary cardmember’s account. So this is a way to essentially get two-for-one elite status qualification, which is awesome.
With the annual fee increasing as of January 2027, the card will also pick up several valuable new perks, including the following:
- 3x miles on eligible AAdvantage Hotels and AAdvantage Cars bookings
- 2x miles on an eligible self-select category of the cardmember’s choice, which options include U.S. shipping providers, office supply stores, or U.S. advertising services
- Up to $120 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fee credit every four years
- Up to $100 back in statement credits annually on inflight purchases
- 25% off a Melio subscription plan to help manage business payments
- Travel protections, including enhanced trip cancellation and trip interruption, lost or damaged luggage, MasterRental (car rental), and trip delay

Citi AAdvantage Business Card FAQs
Bottom line
The Citi AAdvantage Business Card is offering a limited time welcome bonus of 75,000 AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $5,000 within the first five months. This is a great offer on a valuable card that even has its annual fee waived for the first year.
This is also my favorite card for earning AAdvantage elite status, since you can essentially earn Loyalty Points for two members at once. Authorized user spending earns Loyalty Points for the authorized user’s AAdvantage account, and also for the primary cardmember’s AAdvantage account.
