Complete WorldPerks University and earn 500 miles!

I realize this isn’t exactly new and I even remember Northwest winning a Freddie for this concept earlier in the year, but for some reason I didn’t get around to “completing” WorldPerks University until tonight when my friend Dan pointed it out.

This is a great way for Northwest to educate their customers about the WorldPerks program, and they even reward you for it! You earn 100 points for each “course” you complete, and each course quite literally takes a minute. All you have to do is cycle through three pages and answer a few questions (which you can get wrong and immediately correct), and you earn 100 miles each. For about five minutes of “participation” I earned 500 miles, which posted instantly!

Even for those that don’t typically collect NW miles, this is so easy that you shouldn’t miss it. Keep in mind that Delta and Northwest accounts can be combined sometime next year, so this is a great way to earn a few miles in the new program.

WorldPerks University can be found here.

  1. Thanks Tom that insurance quote is awesome! The only thing I’m confused about is that there’s no place to enter a WorldPerks number. Is that automatic from being redirected, or do you give it later?

    Thanks! 🙂

  2. For the insurance you give it later I believe they give you a call only bad part for me being in California it is a ineligibale state.

  3. Thanks for the tip, Lucky. That was an easy way to get 500 miles x 2 (for two accounts I manage), and also a good way to keep one of the accounts alive for another 18 months (or whatever the expiration period is at NWA/Delta).
