Interesting, especially considering how Qatar has had an all-Airbus short haul fleet until now.
Regarding the interiors: Knowing QR, they'll probably keep the original S7 cabins, just like they did with the Cathay 777's & Oman Air A330's.
I can't wait to see what excuse Al-Baker will have for the supposed "World's Best Airline" having a rather standard 737 interior. Probably something about how the service is so good that you won't care about the seats. I mean, nothing wrong with that, but I'd expect the World's Best Airline to have an exceptional hard AND soft product. It might still be a top airline, but maybe not quite #1 (IMO).
Qatar and Bahrain have finally kisses and made up. Will probably see this type of aircraft on the 18 minute DOH-BAH flight soon 🙂
