Why didn't you fly into TSA (vs TPE)? Plenty of *a flights from Tokyo. I found good award availability, too.

LOVE the picture of Taipei 101 and the beautiful sky. The pictures quality is way much better than that Point, Miles and Bloody Mary.

Reminds me of my recent trip to Taipei. Was really impressed with Taipei, think it is much overlooked. Also, found the spg properties were top notch

Remembering the taxi in Nice, I'm curious how much a 45 minute ride to the hotel costs in Taipei?

@ Robert Hanson -- IIRC it was roughly $30USD.

Hi Lucky - my wife & I have stayed in 3 hotels in Taipei & the hot breakfast food was lukewarm, at best, in each of them. I don't understand why it's a difficult task to keep the food hot.

Staying here right now - I was misleaded by this review. Club Lounge guest does not include breakfast, and you have to pay additional USD 30 for breakfast buffet at Latest Receipe. I paid extra for Club rooms and didn't expect this.
