Wow! Even nicer! Seriously, well-done Cambodia. I was impressed by the new SAI, but, wow, these new Plaza Premium lounges look far superior to even the new 'Angkor lounge' at SAI.

I absolutely loved flying in and out of this airport last month. It’s just beautiful. SAI, which is now a couple of years old, was also a beauty.

Thanks for a great review Ben. I’ve been to this lounge 3 times now since the airport opened last year and never knew there were other seating areas outside of the front section. I always thought the lounge was very small and each time I’ve been it’s been cramped. They might need some signage to direct people to the other spaces.

It’s an incredible airport - they’ve done a sensational job to make it feel warm and inviting.

Not sure you can write off the a la carte dining when you ordered the absolute worst thing on the menu.

I do not think that it is uncommon for the airlines to send their eligible passengers to PP First. They want these passengers to have a better experience and be returning customers. CI allows its business class passengers and elite Dynasty Flyers to access the standard PP lounges as well as the PP First lounge at Hong Kong airport even on a short flight from Hong Kong to Taipei.

Agreed. This was the equivalent of going to an Asian restaurant and ordering the single token "Western" dish they have, to cater for people who hate Asian food.

@RichM LOL. Do you mean crab rangoon or sesame chicken for that western dish in a Chinese restaurant in America?

Almost kicking myself for doing my Cambodia trip in February 2025 before the new airport opened....almost.

Guess I'll just have to visit Cambodia again just to check out the lounges 😉
