For an airline like Swiss, I've been wondering for a while if they should've gone with an all Airbus fleet rather than have an oddball 777 in their fleet. With Lufthansa's fleet being more diverse, makes me wonder if they should've acquired the 777 instead while the former gets the A35K? They already have the 77F, so the 77W would easily fit in. I'm sure there's more to it than fleet simplicity.

While the 747 fans are going to be mad when I say this, but the 77Ws could've replaced the 744s by now.

Swiss had their first 77W delivered in the beginning of 2016. Meanwhile, the A35K deliveries first started two years later in 2018 with Qatar Airways. Had the LH group ordered some for Swiss, the delivery slots would have likely been later than that, so there was a big time gap there for Swiss.

I was also thinking if LH could've handed down some A346s to LX. The former had 24 A346s overall so I'm sure some could've made their way over to LX, but once again, I'm sure there's more to it.

Ben, YUL has also been confirmed for the A350 from late February. It's already showing on Swiss.com

I watched the a350 just land live on YouTube and the water salute. Exciting.

The livery is a work of art in itself expressing different regions of Switzerland and Swiss culture. It would be nice to have events where passengers can walk around.

Oof, those economy aisle seats that jut into aisle at back of premium economy cabin. Going to have people jostling shoulders and stepping on feet the whole flight

It's interesting to see YUL as the secondary debut for Swiss, even in February.

I agree, I went to Prague last year and much more beautiful than Paris or Rome. And the Czech cuisine and beer are the best. Pilsner Urquell

A330 by Swiss one of the worst exleriences. Also service terrible. Business passenger need to beg crew for drink

Prague has a certain Central European charm to it, certainly, but I find Budapest much more welcoming and beautiful.

To put Prague in the same sentence as Paris or Rome, however, is objectively lunacy.
