Multiple additional comments :

* I have first-hand personal knowledge of him flying on aircraft other than Air Peace 777s after 2014 so that assertion is untrue.

* Due to the pending criminal charges against him, the only international trip he was able to take outside Nigeria since 2019 has been a diplomatic visit to Brazil where the entire delegation did indeed fly on an Air Peace 777. Additionally he has supposedly acquired citizenship of Antigua by investment through his purchase of LIAT Airlines there.

Nigeria gonna Nigeria

Lovely country with limitless potential; it's a shame it's full of Nigerians.

Watch for his email telling you that a long lost relative just left you $100K and you just need to provide your banking information for payment.

Nigeria is the only country try I know where the diaspora Nigerians (be it with foreign passports or residency) actively return to Nigeria to loot it even more.

Having worked in Nigeria many times and seen the beautifully efficient Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos, I am amazed that planes actually take off. It’s bloody miracle.

(My favourite part of MMIA is the fact that FIDS screen at check-in have been inoperable for many many years!)

Why is it that travel sites oft times contain political comments? On another site I read, the author said all travel is political.

Sure, I would imagine almost everything could have a political connection. Or the author could make some tenuous connection.

But I’m here for the travel!

I agree. I'm here for travel related tips, points, credit cards, and miles, etc, but increasingly the focus of this blog has changed over time. Even the points, credit card, and miles is biased these days anyway and focus on a few core offerings.
