There are some leadership changes coming to JetBlue. We recently learned that JetBlue CEO Robin Hayes will be stepping down, and will be replaced by Joanna Geraghty, who currently serves as president. The airline has now appointed a new president, and I think it’s a fantastic pick.

Congrats to Marty St. George on his promotion and coming back to JetBlue. I had the privilege to meet and talk to Marty on one of the companies TLC’s they hold quarterly. I too left JetBlue recently for Southwest and realized that was a mistake. I now in process to go back.

I have know Marty for many years both at UA and JB. He is an extremely qualified and competent individual. Now that Hayes is gone it is nice to see him return to JB. A true class act.

I like Marty, but he's a New England Patriots fan. Nobody's perfect.

JetBlue needs to get back to basics like when they began flying and stop trying to be one of the Legacy Carriers (AA,DL,UAL). The JetBlue operation cannot compete at that level or serve the number of destinations that they offer. JetBlue is no Southwest either and should not even consider operating in that manner. JetBlue needs to decide What type of Airline they want to be for starters......if you want to offer a MINT product, why is there no FC across the fleet? They want to fly Transatlantic.....then get a fleet to do it. The A321 is not it. The Bigger Competitors will only tolerate so much from Jetblue and their aspirations to fly to Europe, their Joint Ventures will crush token service by JetBlue on narrowbodies and will be loss leaders in the end. JetBlue needs to stick with what they do Best because right now they are all over the place and merely drawing at straws.

This is an excellent, excellent addition. After participating in the Delta status match and being underwhelmed by my B6 experiences, I am really heartened by this news.

There is no way "Marty St. George" is actually someone's name.

"Mr. St. George holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology."

Civil Engineering~~
He might be smart, but I can smell Jetblue going to be Jetbubble soon.
