Virgin Hotels Las Vegas (Hilton Curio Collection) Opening March 2021

I think it's really interesting given that Resorts World will have 3 HIlton branded hotels (Hilton, LXR and Conrad) you've got the Tropicana (DoubleTree) and the WA at Aria. Suddenly Hilton is everywhere in LAS.

Interestingly last spring the owner of the SF property terminated the contract so it is no longer branded as a Virgin Hotel. (Actually, I’m not even sure if it is currently open, as so many SF properties remain temporarily closed.)

There is also a Virgin Hotel in Dallas.

I wonder if using a Hilton credit card at this property will get the bonus points.

It would be such sweet gravy on top if this thing were added as one of the resorts where the $250 Aspire resort credit can be applied. The Waldorf in Vegas is nice, but dang the room I stayed in was small.

Oh so will we get free breakfast there for HH members?

Was the HRH imploded, or does this use the same building?

Actually planning on staying there in April and using my Aspire resort credit. Still the deals are not as good (at least so far) as paying cash and using Virtuoso or FHR so I will spend some nights at other properties too.

Looking forward to checking this out. Hopefully they appreciate status like the Japanese do.

This is not only the United States, not Japan (lower expectations generally since everyone and their uncle has a Surpass or Aspire card here), but it's Vegas (where actual high rollers will spend four or five digits on a room, at the tables, or in a nightclub without batting an eye).

Hilton status isn't going to get you high roller treatment unless you're an actual high roller (I would expect SRB to do his best to try to market to the cool Hollywood crowd). I would expect modest upgrades and a reasonable breakfast unless you want to shell out or drop cash on clubs, tables or whatever.
