Seems smart for the 777X to be the new flagship aircraft with an onboard lounge. I wonder whether they'd introduce an onboard shower for first class on the 777X as well, just to continue the A380's legacy once they are retired (and keep the halo effect alive).
Ugh, the lounge looks more like the Etihad lounge on the A380s, just a bunch of seats, vs having a real bar there. Hopefully that's just due to the angle of the rendering and the bar is hiding behind the wall on the right.
I think a bar is most likely going to be there as firstly, the bar is experience is part of the whole "halo" affect that Emirates has and would be too good for Emirates to miss out on, even if the whole bar is going to be considerably smaller than the one on the A380. I think that due to the rendering its not shown but most likely its going to be placed in the middle of the cabin between the two aisles shown

I'm glad EK leaked these renderings. It's good for the airline too. Frankly, I was skeptical of EK having a competitive hard product in Business on the 777X given their current product, and these renderings disproved that and makes me excited to fly EK again in the future. I'm sure I'm not alone.
I flew with them last January,it was simply amazing.From my pick to the airport ,the whole experience was fantastic.comfortable and staff wonderful.
Loved the fact I was driven to. my in Brisbane,who got the surprise of his life He had no idea of my visit. My homeward was excellent hopefully to travel again next year
I doubt they'd introduce a shower. The A380 had one because it had a lot of unusable floor space. The 777 doesn't.
If you slow the video to 0.25 speed, you can briefly see shelving for liquor across from the lounge. Don't know if it's just a shelf or if there can be a bar there.

Oddly, at least for the seats with the side console closer to the aisle, the “door” doesn’t seem to extend below the side console. It appears that the doors are more like privacy screens, like those found on Virgin Atlantic’s upper class product, rather than full fledged doors.
Ive flown A380 first class many times. The difference from business was dine on demand & more privacy. From the looks the new config in 1st will provide more privacy
I mean, on the a380, the major difference between First and Business is also… the shower
Singapore airlines are now offering a very poor business class.
The seats are really dated and uncomfortable being that you have to sleep at an angle with a small footwell.
Emirates are clearly the new kings of the sky.
Emirates is going to wake up a year or two from now and discover that every other major luxury airline has already installed seats with doors in business class and will be embarrassed that their early 2000's era seats just aren't cutting it. Emirates reached it's peak a year ago and the downhill slide will only be noticeable when it's too late. Good service can mask poor hard product for only so long. Their lack of attention on hard product is going to be a tough lesson.
Their business class dates all the way back to 2013 when they introduced it on the 77W, so they're past due for an upgrade. I'm looking forward to see what they come up with later this year.
Not forgetting the armchair, more floor space, separate bed and the ability to convert two suits into one larger suite.
