I have it. It would seem for CK status AA is now looking more a LPs rather than just dollar spend, in addition to amount of paid premium versus complimentary upgrades. LPs also give insight to the use of co branded ccs, seemingly as important as actual flying.

I'm waiting for the AA Globe card articles to catch up with the LH articles. Almost there.

When you need a detailed article to understand how to extract one of the benefits of a card, you lost me.

I just want getting value back for my annual fee to be a lot simpler and easier to understand and execute. Specially since the issuers charge the annual fee upfront. Cards like these are at best one SUB and done cards.

"Cards like these are at best one SUB and done cards." This is the essence of virtually all co-branded cards. There are some exceptions. But, as a general rule.

"the card earns 3x AAdvantage miles on American Airlines purchases."
Does that include purchases from AAdvantage Hotels?

Is it necessary to pay the $350 annual fee to qualify for the bonus miles, or will the purchase threshold be sufficient. On the AA Citi Platinum Select, at $99/year, I received the 80,000 miles when I met the purchase $$ threshold. On my Jet Blue Barclay's Card, I have to pay the $99 annual fee PLUS the purchase $$ threshold, before receiving the 80,000 (or perhaps it's 60,000) bonus miles.

I’ve gotten 10,000/15,000 LPs with the flight streak. By the end of June I’ll have hit the max 15,000.

I'd bet the offer terms and conditions would have your answer.
